Dr. Friederike Otto is a physicist and Senior Lecturer in Climate Science at the Grantham Institute at Imperial College London. She is also a co-founder of World Weather Attribution, an international effort to analyse and communicate the role of climate change in extreme weather events. In 2020, Fredi was among the core authors of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Sixth Assessment Report (AR6), and in 2021 she was recognised on the TIME 100 list.
